I've been working on my "Straight Out of Line" blocks, and have them ready to trim and sew into the larger blocks. I am going to split them into two crib sized quilts. I worked on them at "Hugs" Monday, and the girls just loved them and one person wants the ruler! I have fabric picked out for the borders, and think I will use plain fabric for the backs.
I've also pulled my Mary Englebreigt fabrics for a 'Double Slice' quilt--I'm cutting my own 'layer cake' of fabrics and including several solids since the ME fabrics are so busy. I will still have quite a bit of ME fabric left over--seems so hard to use up all the fabric!!!
My next WIP will be to finish the "Meg" quilt--I can't find the pattern either here or on line so I'm going to put together what I have into a wallhanging and use the remaining fabrics for another quilt--maybe a nine-patch/snowball, one of my favorite patterns.
Photos will come with progress! Now it's time to fix a bit of dinner and then hopefully get to sew!
