Our new grand daughter, Celeste Elaine, arrived at 10:04 January 18. She weighed 6lb 6oz and is 20 inches long! She has dark hair and blue eyes and is so petite! She is beautiful!!! Even her cry is cute! We went to see her yesterday and she had a little yellow bow in her hair. We didn't go today because dear daughter is tired from not much sleep and really just wanted to rest, but we have been texting and a long phone call earlier, too. I think they will be going home tomorrow. It's great being a grandma finally!
In the meantime, a winter storm that was predicted is here! It snowed for hours and just covered the grass, but as the temp falls, it has begun to stick on the drive and street, too. It's supposed to get really cold tonight! So much for winter, everyone is ready for spring! I don't remember such a snowy winter in a long time. They predict a total of 6", but thankfully so much of that has already melted, that we won't have that much accumulate.
I haven't had a chance to take a picture of Celeste's quilt; maybe we'll do that in a few minutes so I can post a photo on here and on Stashbuster!
