Lots of things going on--a rash of problems in the family that inspired me to read a little of the book of "Job"! Not going into details, but at least some of those problems have been resolved in a good way, and still working on others.
Our weather has been a roller coaster of warm/cold/colder, with a little snow mixed in. It is supposed to turn off really cold again by the first of the week with snow. Funny how all the blue skies have mostly turned gray as soon as the weather cooled off!!!
I still haven't taken a photo of my shop mystery quilt I finished; I'm slowly working on getting the binding sewn down on my SITP--I'll work on it in a few minutes. I finished my "Hearts and Home" flimsy--cut the backing and batting, but that's it. I still have the 'Stretched Stars' Hugs quilt to quilt, too, as well as several shirts to machine embroider for Christmas.
I've decided to make Celeste a reversible quilt using that 'big' nine-patch pattern. It calls for three fabrics, but I can only find two that I like, so it occurred to me to just make it reversible. I don't think Cara is going to be thrilled with it, but it's the best I can do right now. I still need to make burp pads and I want to make some flannel blankets, too. We are buying her car seat/stroller, bathtub, and other things for Christmas --Cara picked them out. She is thrilled to be getting them!!!
I hope to be back soon with some pictures and a little perkier message!!!
