Quilt Guild Day
Today was guild day--we had a pitch-in lunch, style show, and found out that we made quite a little bit of money on our quilt show last week. Some of the things modeled in our quilty style show were vests, jackets, and purses--I took a halloween 'scrappy sak' which really did not match at all my summer white pants and pink tank top, but at 90 degrees today, it felt like summer is still going strong! Lunch was good; a member who formerly owned a bakery made a delicious chocolate cake for our President's birthday. There always seems to be more desserts at these luncheons than other things! One different dessert today was a 'sugar pie' that a member who lives in the Indianapolis area brought--it is supposed to be Indiana's official pie! (And I never heard of it until today!) I still prefer the chocolate cake! Now off to do other things!
